"Sponsor My Event Academy proved to be an incredibly powerful resource for me and my small business. Peter was able to take the knowledge and assumptions I had about modern sponsorship--including prospecting and pitching--and paint an all-encompassing picture of how to execute from start to finish. He and I share a vision of creating innovative and new experiences for event attendees, and I found his expertise in that extremely valuable."

Meet your coach
Peter Poehle is a serial entrepreneur. He created his first company back in 2001 and entered the sponsorship business in 2014 with the creation of SponsorMyEvent, the marketplace for event-sponsorship, active mostly in the US but also in other countries.
Peter has considerable experience in the sponsorship market, transatlantic-business and the startup-world. He’s often speaking at webinars, coaching both sponsors and organizers and holding trainings about how to find sponsors and sponsorship tactics.
After being an aspiring-sponsorship-seeker in the 90’s, Peter's become the sponsor himself with his companies. Learning how to leverage the visibility his companies got sponsoring a basketball team, some events, exploring first-hand in-cash and in-kind sponsorship was more than valuable.
For some time Peter was moderating several TV-shows and even today he's still active moderating business events. Loving to be in front of people, teaching them the power of sponsorship, he enjoys being in webinars across the globe and to speak at events. Besides all that Peter's also hosting his own video-podcast “Sponsorship Heroes” with leading industry-experts.
As the CEO of SponsorMyEvent, over the past years Peter's been working with literally thousands of event-organizers and sponsors. He was in uncounted calls, helped with negotiations and was involved in the preparations and the follow-up. Peter shared both great and bitter moments with his clients. From great success to sometimes great failure.
Peter has seen the perfect pitch just as much as he had to help create a perfect pitch. He has seen organizers both succeeding and struggling to answer nagging questions from sponsors.
